The reason behind this site

This website comes about as a result of my personnel interest in metal detectors, in-particular commercial metal detectors. Hence I decided to put in one place my research about this equipment that I can refer to as well as others may do the same. You will notice that the material here are geared towards guiding one on how to select a suitable metal detector and buying one. I guess that's how one gets started right in this hobby of metal detecting. Imagine getting an unsuitable model and one has to bear with frustration or worse chuck it to a corner and said metal detecting is not for me. I for one believes that a hobby is a progressive one and as one progresses we upgrade our hobby tools along the way. Hence the same goes for metal detecting. We get started with a basic and suitable model, start the hobby, learn the ropes and later upgrade to a better model.
